General Membership Meeting April 5

Please join us for a general membership meeting on Thursday, April 5th at 6pm, at the New York State Bar Association, One Elk Street in Albany.  Lillian Moy of The Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York and Lisa Frisch of The Legal Project will be speaking on their respective programs and the pro bono opportunities they offer. Welcome to the Capital District Black & Hispanic Bar Association (“CDBHBA”) website! Here you will find information about our organization, recent events in our community, job listings and developments in the law.

General body meetings take place every other month from September to May, usually at the State Bar Association Building in Albany.  Check our “Events” page for news on upcoming events and photos from previous events. 

Please consider joining the CDBHBA, where you can:

• expand your social and professional network
• participate in professional development activities, and
• be a part of community service/pro bono opportunities.

In recent months, the CDBHBA has participated in several youth and the law days at Albany High School,  hosted several community guest speakers at their bi-montly meetings, and hosted a Cinco de Mayo minority networking event.
